The New Age of Bespoke Travel by Bob Mandell
That’s the Wall Street Journal title of an article which appeared this past weekend – December 30th. It could not have been better timed. The article talked about the special higher end experiences that a travel agent can deliver to a sophisticated travel public. And the personal customized service that you receive.
A typically British term, it symbolizes something special and higher end. That is why I have been calling our Brit Masterpieces Tour bespoke! This is one for the books!
That is what you will experience on this one of a kind two-week trip to the UK. Imagine, a private visit to Downton Abbey and a private Midwife Tour and the many experiences that have been assembled. A wreath laying at the only US Cemetery in the UK and lunch at the Sherlock Pub (and a special treat) in London. A trip to Cornwall to see where Doc Martin and Poldark were filmed and lunch at a special name chef restaurant. And least I forget the visit to Chartwell, Winston Churchill’s home and the war museum in London.
Harry Potter and fans of old railroads will enjoy a ride on the 1930’s themed train that departs from Hogsmeade Station.
And now with year two of Victoria getting ready to start up again, the Victoria fans will glow at the trip to York where much of that shows are filmed.
