My family has been a client of Deb’s for over 25 years. Over that time she has become much more than a travel agent to us. She is a true and trusted friend, who knows and remembers the needs and preferences of each of us. She goes above and beyond making reservations and really cares that the vacation is a success. Some of our best vacations were at her recommendation, either a particular cruise, hotel, tour group, or just an aisle airplane seat. She is there for you as well in case of trouble abroad or cancelled reservations. We are lifers! ~Sharon from Massachusetts

Deb booked my vacation of a lifetime! Two weeks in the Mediterranean! She knew all the great spots to go, from little quaint cafes in Cinque Terre to a walking tour through the Vatican that bypassed the long lines. Every orchestrated aspect of my first European vacation was meticulously planned with ME in mind. I would not use anyone else.

“The Debonair Kenya Safari from the 1st day to the last- seeing all the animals in their natural locations, 3 nights at each of the safari lodges and ending on Lamu Island was the most phenomenal trip!

Our trip to Italy was the best time ever.

Deb has been my travel consultant for 20 years and her “can do” attitude has enabled me to see places I would not have thought possible. ~Elinor from Massachusetts

The travel arrangements were great! You Rock!

We don’t know where to start and words just can’t express the past five days in Peru. We have been living a dream and I think I am getting used to “the Highlife”. Having private guide service for everything is something we have never had. Everything went as planned and everyone took care of us and then some.

Having the guide at Machu Picchu for 3 hours certainly gave us individual care and was a welcome relief from the usual
group experiences we have had in the past. Nice to have
someone answer your questions. She was great and actually gave us so much information that we didn’t have that many questions.

“WOW”, was our first thought when we saw it the first day. Have to admit that we had the same response the second day. You just can’t believe that you are there looking at all that surrounds you. It is a 360 degree setting.

Everyplace you look is wonderful. You get a new view all the time as the clouds are all around and one minute you see a peak and the next you don’t.

When we check into a new hotel, I claim this is the best. The first one between Cusco and Machu Picchu was very nice and in a quiet area and quite remote. Food was nice. The second night was in the Machu Piccu village. The hotel at Machu Picchu was even nicer than the night before. Food was very good and people there were super nice. Ed had Alpaca steak.

Can’t thank Deb enough for all the work on this . I told Ed that it will be very hard to good back to reality after this trip and we have not even completed our 49 day cruise voyage yet! ~Joan and Ed from New York

Deb has planned my trips for the past 28 years. As my travel needs have evolved she has been able to make my dreams a reality. In my 20’s she recommended the Contiki Tour of Europe. She then arranged trips to- California, The Southwest- including the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, cruises and trips with family & friends to Mexico, Canada & Bermuda, excursions while traveling for work conferences in Hawaii and meeting up with friends in Germany. Some of my favorite trips were to- the Scottish Highlands & English countryside, Scandinavia, a stay on Mykonos in a family run small hotel, cruising the Nile to see the sights of Egypt and of course my Honeymoon cruise! Now she arranges family vacations for us with our 8 year old. I am grateful that Deb can do it all! ~Mary from Florida

Having worked with Debra for years, and having used her services multiple times, I highly recommend her. She is a trustworthy, hardworking and diligent travel expert that goes beyond the standard to ensure her customer’s satisfaction. Her passion for travel comes through in her work! So pleased to see her starting her own exciting new venture! ~Kristen from Massachusetts

You sure know how to book a trip. Off ship heading to Denali, perfect seats on the train. Amazing trip on the train to Denali.
Talk to you when we get home. Thanks again for being you. ~Sue and Bill from Florida

It is a pleasure to write and thank you for making our arrangements to Sanibel & Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. First of all, all arrangements were perfect and the accommodations lovely. Song of the Sea on Sanibel is well run and we were welcomed back as return guests. Could not have been quieter and was very comfortable. And the suite at the Lover’s Key Resort in Ft. Myers Beach was gorgeous and also very quiet.

I do not know if all of the units are of this quality or whether you knew the right person to book with so we got the best suite! Both locations were perfect for birding and we saw 57 different birds! We liked the restaurants you recommended.

Finally, thank you for the perfect directions from Sanibel to Lover’s Key. Again, we have appreciated your help over the past 24 years and very much like working with you. Looking forward to keeping in touch! ~Myrna and Mike from Massachusetts

We had a really nice time in Vegas. Loved the Encore!! You could not have picked a better hotel for us, we were 100% satisfied with the room, the decor, restaurants, pool – literally everything. We walked the entire strip and went in a lot of different hotels and both agreed there was no where else we would have rather stayed. Thank you for making that selection for us and taking care of our flight arrangements as well. The next trip will be here before we know it! ~Sandy and Dave from Florida

We are still in love with Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Mexico, our favorite destination, that Deb suggested and arranged 25 years ago. As a matter of fact, she has taken care of all our travel and cruises since then. She makes travel so easy for us and knows just what we enjoy. ~Joan and Ed from New York

Deb, You are two for two! Turks and Caicos was amazing! Once again you picked a perfect resort for us that fit our personalities and taste. We can’t thank you enough and look forward to future travel arrangements with you! We absolutely fell in love with the beaches of Turks and Caicos – soft sand and amazing turquoise water! The perfect vacation to celebrate our 20 year anniversary! Thanks again Deb! ~Sandy and Dave from Florida

My wife and I have had the pleasure of using Deb to arrange our travel plans. Her first priority was to understand exactly what we wanted, as opposed to just being an “order taker”. Her input, advice and personal touch truly made this a concierge experience. We had checked the internet deals before and found that she delivered a superior experience at a surprisingly competitive price. Thanks Deb, and we’re already looking forward to our first trip to Ireland. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
~Norm and Laurie from New Hampshire

Hi, Deb,

First, I want to thank you for all the personal attention you gave to us and to our trip at every point in our planning. It made a great difference to be able to modify and individualize suggestions from your Spain contacts. As I wrote earlier, we were also completely satisfied with all. We appreciated the company’s reliability (on or before time for all pickups and tours) and especially compliment Blanca and Julia, who were always available, friendly, and helpful when needed. As you know, there was a taxi/limo strike on the day we were to leave for Madrid, which necessitated a slight delay, new train tickets, and transport other than limo. Blanca and Julia took care of everything, including delivering new tickets to the hotel and arranging for a privately owned car to transport us. We weren’t even stressed, had full confidence in the new arrangements — and we were right.

As you said, Barcelona is an exciting city with much to see and do in the areas we most enjoy — history, archeology, and art. On our own, we walked everywhere or took the metro — people were friendly and helpful and we had no problems. Highlights on our own — the National Museum of Catalonia (something like the Cloisters in NYC); the extensive Roman archeological sites, mostly within the City Museum; and the old Jewish ‘call’ district with its functioning small synagogue. We found many topnotch restaurants and tapas bars, all within walking distance of our hotel, which was also a fine choice — beautiful suite, attentive staff. I also think we booked the right private tours — the Gaudi sites, because they are scattered all over the city and because the Sagrada, which is spectacular, is just overwhelmed with visitors. We were happy to be shepherded around; and both the Dali Museum and Gerona, which gave us an opportunity to tour outside the city. Gerona is particularly charming; we would have liked to spend even more time there.

I am so glad we decided on the train for the trip to Madrid. Such a relief not to have to return to an airport! I wasn’t sorry we took the porterage — such a nice young man, and we were guided to exactly where we would take the elevator down to our track. Again, no problems, and the ride to Madrid was delightful. And, of course, a very professional, very nice gentleman was waiting for us and whisked us to our hotel, which has the perfect location and, again, lovely room (seemed like a junior suite to us its charmingly funky way), very friendly staff, excellent restaurant. In Madrid we mostly did the major art museums but also fortunately stumbled on the newly opened (after 3 years of renovation) archeology museum, which is fabulous and not yet on the tourist radar screen (though plenty of Spaniards were visiting). The arrangement of the exhibits, the audio guide, the holdings were fabulous; we even made a return visit. We also went out to the Escorial by ourselves on the local bus, a beautiful ride; and easy touring because this is not an over-visited site and once inside you can wander around on your own (there is an audio-guide) enjoying the art and history, as well as spectacular views.

So, all in all a great success. Would I do a Debonair Concierge Travel private tour again? Definitely. Probably something similar, where we have pickups and drop-offs arranged, emergency contacts, and one or two tours, since Mike and I do like to explore on our own and at our own pace.

Again, many thanks! Fond regards,
~Myrna and Mike from Massachusetts

Deb:  Our trip to Ireland with our grandchildren, ages 15, 12 and 7, was a once in a life time event. Everything was perfect. From the minute we landed at Shannon Airport to our departure the trip went beyond our expectations. We are grateful for your assistance with the organization and suggestions.

Our goal was for the grandchildren to visit the family homes where their great grandparents emigrated from. CIE arranged our itinerary to enable us not only to accomplish this task; but to visit points of interest along the way.

Our driver/guide, Tom, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and told many interesting facts about the areas we visited. Tom made sure we were at our destinations in a timely fashion. He is a professional who takes pride not only in his day to day tasks; but also attending to our needs during this trip.

We have traveled with CIE on several occasions with your guidance and we have never been disappointed.

Thank you again for all of your help. ~Your 30 year clients from Massachusetts February 2020
